LCDs and Sensors

Introduction

A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is a flat-panel display that uses the light-modulating properties of liquid crystals which do not emit light directly, but use a backlight or reflector to produce images. In this lab, a LCD will be used to display inputs through manual input and through sensors.

Discussion

Tasks 1-8 were successfully completed and can be seen above. Task 9 was attempted, but could not be achieved. This could be due to incorrect wire placement and rewiring could achieve a portable digital temperature meter.
