Lab 1

Introduction
This lab is an introduction to gvim and Vivado. During this lab we will be installing and practicing using both software pieces as they will be used heavily in this class.

Task 1
In this task we were instructed to practice gvim and record a video of us using many of the commands and shortcuts used by gvim.

Task 2
In this task we were directed to install Vivado to our pc. Shown below is a screenshot of the program installed and running on my personal laptop.


 
Discussion
This lab was a good introduction to these programs and will ensure that we are able to use them in futures labs and for future projects in this class effectively.
