Review of Superposition, Thevenin's Equivalent Circuit and LTSpice
Introduction:
In this lab we reviewed Superposition, Thevenin's and how to use LTSpice
Materials and Methods:
In this Lab we used the computer program LTSpice to gather simulation
results. We used both superposition and Thevein's methods to complete
circuit analysis.
Results:
Task 1: Superposition
Figure 1: Shows the code used in LTSpice to generate the simulation
Figure 2: Shows the results from the simulation
Figure 3: Hand Calculation for the same circuit to compare.
Task 2: Thevenin Equivalent
Figure 4: LTSpice code and results used to simulate the circuit.
Figure 5: Adjusted Code to run the simulation in LTSpice to get the proper results.
Figure 6: Showing the simulations time difference.
Figure 7: Hand Calculated results.
5. Discussion
As seen above the hand calculation results are really close to the
simulation results. This shows that each step was done correctly and we
are able to confirm all the results. The Lab was able to be
successfully completed.
