Lab 1: Review Superposition, Thevenin's Equivalent Circuit, and LTSpice

Introduction
Lab 1 is a review of common methods used to solve circuits and various elements of circuits.

    In Part 1, we used
the superposition theory to calculate all the voltages and currents in a circuit, verifying the results with LTspice.

In Part 2, we converted the circuit from Part 1 into its
Thevenin's equivalent, treating the 4nF CL as a load. We again verified our results using LTspice.

Materials and Methods
For Lab 1, circuits, voltages, currents and resistance were calculated by hand. LT Spice was used to verify answers.

The Superposition theorem and Thevenin's theorem were emphasized.

LT Spice was then used to run the following code:

We are able to add traces to visually show the time delay:

Discussion
Reviewing circuit theories and LTspice helped me feel more confident with the problems covered in class.
