1. Lab 7 - ESP32-CAM PCB Design/Gerber
2. Introduction
The purpose of this tutorial was to design and solder a PCB to replace the proto-board we created in Tutorial 3.
3. Results
Task 1:
This
task asked us to design and solder together a PCB to replace the
proto-board used in Tutorial 3. Figure 1 shows a picture of my fully
soldered board. Unforunately, at some point during the design process I
must've resized my "via's" and the printed PCB I recieved had holes to
small to fit the header pins through. I tried to solve this problem
both by widening the holes and by drilling them out using a drill bit
just slightly smaller than the metal contact on the outside of the
"via". Unfortunately neither of these solutions worked and I wasn't
able to produce a working project for the in-person demonstration.

5. Discussion
This
was a good review of Eagle PCB and how to make a circuit board. I'm
fairly confident all of the connections would've worked if not for the
improper sizing of the "via's", but there's no way to tell for sure without a
bunch of tedious continuity tests with a multimeter.
